At the University Pain Treatment Center, you will have a whole team of experts working with you.

That is what we mean by a “multidisciplinary approach”: Doctors and experts from several different disciplines, all working together to find the best treatment for you.Your team may include doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, physical therapists, psychologists and other specialists, all of whom have vast experience in treating pain.

These experts will work together to create a completely customized approach for you. They will continue to work together in our weekly internal meetings, where they will review your progress and consider modifications that could provide even better results.

What’s more, should you need other specialists—such as those with expertise in cancer or spinal problems—we work closely with the region’s top doctors at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
